Based in a friendly and supportive team, you will work with wide a range of interesting clients including those from the financial services, media, technology, property, retail and renewable energy sectors. Your role will be hands on and mainly preparing work yourself but will also include an element of reviewing work and supervising juniors. Your role will include: managing your own portfolio of clients, the preparation of complex statutory accounts under both UK GAAP and IFRS, preparation of consolidated accounts, supporting the year end process for your clients by liaising with external auditors, researching and responding to client technical queries covering IFRS and UK GAAP and managing juniors and reviewing their work. You will also have the opportunity to prepare Vat returns, management accounts and other ad hoc duties and advisory projects. Your role will be advisory based, varied, challenging, and training will be provided where necessary.
To be considered for this new role (June 2025) you must be either ACCA or ACA qualified, either newly qualified or up to 3 yeas PQE. You must be working for a good quality practice firm with strong experience of preparing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS102. Experience of IFRS would be an advantage, as would experience of preparing management accounts. You must have experience using a disclosure checklist when preparing accounts. You must also have experience managing junior staff, reviewing their work and providing feedback. You must now be looking to upgrade to a large practice based in a City location in Central London where you can continue with your accountancy career, work on an interesting client base and receive top training, support and future progression to Manager grade on offer.
