Accounts Assistant | P.E backed Veterinary Group | London | Hybrid | £28,000 - £32,000
An exciting opportunity to join a P.E backed start up veterinary group has arisen for a bright Accounts Assistant. This role is working within their luxury offices in central London, sat within a dynamic and driven finance team. This is a hybrid role with the expectation of 3 days in the office per week.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for some elements of transactional finance and month end reporting.
Key responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day finance operations including processing purchase and sales ledger invoices, payment runs, and bank uploads
- Maintain accurate ledgers and perform reconciliations for suppliers, customers, and bank accounts
- Assist with month-end tasks such as journal entries, accruals, and fixed assets
- Respond to internal and external finance queries and support as needed
What they're looking for:
- Over 1 year of experience in Finance / Accounts support role
- Actively studying AAT / ACCA / CIMA
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use Excel to an advanced level
- Fantastic communication skills, well-organised with excellent time management skills
