Accounts Payable Assistant

5 days in Central London

Salary £28,000 to £32,000 per annum

Our client, a rapidly expanding construction business based in the City, are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager on a permanent basis. They plan to double the business in the next 5 years and are looking to secure someone who wants to be part of that journey. Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Purchase ledger - entering all supplier invoices and credit notes
  • Processing expenses
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting the team with PO queries and helping with any other areas of finance when required

What the client is looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good time management skills
  • Attention to details

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with clients plus internal teams. Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks within deadlines is essential.
