Job Title: Remote Acoustic Consultant
Salary: 30,000-40,000 + Benefits

A leading and rapidly expanding acoustic consultancy is seeking a Remote Acoustic Consultant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an acoustics professional with early experience in environmental or building acoustics to accelerate their career within a supportive, high-performing consultancy.

As an Acoustic Consultant, you'll support the delivery of noise surveys, acoustic assessments, technical reporting, and client communication across a diverse portfolio of UK-wide projects - all while working fully remotely. The company offers exceptional progression, structured development, and strong encouragement toward completing the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conducting environmental noise surveys and building acoustics assessments

  • Preparing high-quality technical reports and noise impact assessments

  • Supporting acoustic modelling and data analysis

  • Liaising with clients, planners, contractors, and local authorities

  • Assisting senior acousticians on complex project delivery

  • Supporting bids, proposals, and business development activities

Required skills & experience:

  • Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field

  • 1-2 years' experience in environmental or building acoustics

  • Strong technical writing and communication skills

  • Understanding of BS4142, BS8233, and planning-related guidance

  • Desire to work toward (or currently studying for) the IOA Diploma

  • Full UK driving licence
