Arthur is delighted to be supporting a leading run-off insurer, providing actuarial support across reserving, capital, and transaction due diligence. This role is suited to a graduate who would like to, or is pursuing an actuarial qualification and offers exposure to a wide range of actuarial work in the Lloyd’s and company markets.Responsibilities:• Gather and process data for RITC transactions and company market deals.• Support due diligence analysis for potential M&A transactions.• Contribute to quarterly reserving by extracting premium, claims, and reinsurance data.• Carry out reserve analyses and assist in preparing documentation for reserving committees.• Operate models used to determine Solvency II technical provisions.• Assist with the production of management information and actual vs expected analysis.• Prepare data for auditors, actuaries, and regulatory bodies such as Lloyd’s.• Extract data and perform statistical analyses for capital model parameterisation.• Provide support to capital processes as required.Requirements:• A degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics or a related subject.• Working towards actuarial qualification.• Familiarity with reserving in the Lloyd’s and London Market (preferred).• Proficient in Excel; VBA and ResQ experience advantageous.• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.• Able to meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure.• Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing.• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.Right to Work: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
