About the role:

Are you a highly organised and customer-focused individual with a passion for public service? We're looking for a proactive Administration Officer to join our Housing Area Team, supporting the delivery of housing management services to over 8,000 properties.

This is a dynamic and varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be the first point of contact for residents, contractors, and colleagues-handling everything from emergency repairs and tenancy sign-ups to anti-social behaviour reports and estate management support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage repairs reporting lines and raise remedial orders, ensuring prompt and safe resolutions.
  • Support the team rota including ASB, voids, out-of-hours emergencies, and post.
  • Coordinate tenancy processes including sign-ups, voids, and mutual exchanges.
  • Maintain accurate records using systems like NEC, Civica, and Capita.
  • Issue estate parking permits and manage reception duties.
  • Assist with safeguarding, welfare checks, and fire safety documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills and experience:

  • Experienced in administrative roles, within housing or public services.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office and able to learn systems like NEC and Netcall.
  • A confident communicator-both written and verbal-with a professional and courteous manner.
  • Organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure.
