You will provide essential support in managing complex contracts, including NEC3, for a high-profile infrastructure programme. You'll assist with contract administration, supplier payments, cost reporting, and process improvement, ensuring compliance and value for money.

Description
Key responsibilities for the Contract Officer role:
- Support the administration of contracts, including early warnings, communications, and compensation events.
- Assist in reviewing and processing supplier payment applications.
- Contribute to cost reporting and budget tracking across the programme.
- Help improve commercial processes by mapping and refining workflows.
- Take accurate notes and track actions from commercial and contractual meetings.
- Ensure suppliers are correctly set up and paid through the finance system.
- Provide general administrative support to the Commercial Team as needed.
Profile
A successful Contract Officer should have:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Keen to progress & develop.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and other relevant IT systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
Job Offer
- £33,000 - 35,000 salary per annum
- Temporary position for up to 6 months
