Signature Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading London university to recruit an Education Administrator to join their Professional and Executive Development directorate. This is a full-time hybrid role, with 2-3 days on-site per week and a 6-month initial assignment with strong potential for extension. You’ll be supporting a small, friendly team of five to six staff, reporting into the Operations Manager. The role will primarily focus on providing professional administrative support, coordinating meetings, managing inboxes, assisting with event logistics, and supporting the Director of Professional Education.

Education Administrator Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day admin support across the team, including diary management, meeting coordination, inbox management, and purchasing
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements, process conference registrations, and manage Purchase Orders (POs)
  • Service departmental meetings - prepare agendas, circulate papers, take minutes, and follow up on action points
  • Support event planning, particularly during busy periods in May (e.g., booking rooms and logistics)
  • Manage office supplies, filing systems, and assist with office moves
  • Build relationships with other internal departments and respond with initiative and judgement
  • Ensure compliance with university policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
Education Administrator Key Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a professional approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including minute-taking and formal correspondence
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Confident IT skills with the ability to quickly learn internal systems (e.g., MS Office, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both academic and professional services colleagues
