This hybrid-based IFA Administrator job in Central London is available within a respected financial planning business.

You will be working within a pod / team consisting of a lead IFA / Senior Administrator and 2 IFA Administrators, along with their Paraplanning team to support a busy Financial Planner.

This is a well-rounded IFA Administrator role consisting of pre and post sale duties and client liaison, for example your duties will include:

  • Providing proactive administrative support
  • Regularly liaising with the Financial Advisor, Paraplanner and fellow Administrators, plus providers and introducers
  • Ensure new business is packaged accurately and ready for compliance checking
  • Ensure client files are kept up to date and regularly updated
  • Ensure all ongoing client servicing requirements are dealt with promptly and effectively, ensuring that clients are offered a review meeting at least once per year
  • Act on incoming and outgoing post, emails and calls
  • Review file notes and carry out relevant actions
  • Assist in researching and obtaining illustrations
  • Prepare client documentation and pre-complete forms where appropriate
  • Arrange client meetings and send confirmations to the client

Our client uses Intelligent Office as their CRM, alongside Microsoft Office applications.

IFA Administrator Requirements

  • Our client is open to experienced IFA Administrators and non-industry Administrators, subject to having some professional services experience
  • You should be highly organised, able to deal with multiple cases whilst maintain excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • You should be able to demonstrate reliability, discretion, confidentiality and flexibility
  • You should be able to use initiative to proactively complete your work, whilst being comfortable to ask for help / training where required
  • Individuals with experience of Intelligent Office would be desirable but not essential

Their specialist private client team are based in London and Cambridgeshire, offering independent advice to clients. The team continue to expand as the business continues to grow.

IFA Administrator Benefits

  • Salary of up to £28,000 - £33,000 depending on experience
  • Company benefits include 25 days holiday bank holidays, pension, 4x life assurance and support towards industry exams (R0 through Cii)
  • Hybrid working of 3 days office and 2 days home
  • 35 hours per week
