Lunchtime Supervisor (with Personal Care Responsibilities)
Location: Catford, South East London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:45am - 2:00pm (term time only)
Are you a caring and reliable individual looking to support young people in a vibrant secondary school environment? We are seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team at a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Catford.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students during lunch breaks to ensure a safe, orderly, and positive environment.
Assist with setting up and clearing away dining areas as required.
Support students with personal care needs sensitively and respectfully, following the school's safeguarding and dignity policies.
Promote positive behaviour and good social interaction among students.
Liaise with teaching and support staff as needed to ensure consistent care and support.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school or care setting.
Experience providing personal care (this is essential for the role).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A calm, compassionate, and proactive approach.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
