A national healthcare improvement organisation is seeking a Project Officer to join its quality improvement team on a temporary basis (maternity cover). This is an exciting opportunity to support impactful clinical audits and research projects in the field of mental health.

Working pattern: Hybrid (2 days office-based: Wednesday & Thursday, 3 days remote)

Location: City of London (office-based days)
The Project Officer will be responsible for:

Conduct literature reviews and support the development of data collection tools
-
Manage and analyse data using SPSS and Excel
-
Support report writing and the production of national publications
-
Liaise with clinicians, service users, and project stakeholders
-
Organise events, workshops, and meetings (online and in-person)
-
Assist with administrative tasks including invoices, bookings, and communications
The Project Officer will need to have:
-
A strong interest in health and social care, particularly mental health
-
Experience in audit, research, or quality improvement
-
Skills in data analysis using SPSS
-
Excellent written and verbal communication
-
Strong organisational and time management skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desirable:
-
A degree in social sciences, health sciences, or data science

Experience working in mental health or with healthcare professionals

Confidence facilitating events or workshops
