Temporary Project Officer (4-Month Contract)Hybrid Working | £22.87/hour (umbrella) | Full-Time (35 hrs/week)

A national healthcare improvement organisation is seeking a Project Officer to join its quality improvement team on a temporary basis (maternity cover). This is an exciting opportunity to support impactful clinical audits and research projects in the field of mental health.

Contract Details:

  • Start date: ASAP

  • End date: 12 September 2025

  • Interview date: Tuesday 6 May 2025

  • Working pattern: Hybrid (2 days office-based: Wednesday & Thursday, 3 days remote)

  • Location: City of London (office-based days)

The Project Officer will be responsible for:

  • Conduct literature reviews and support the development of data collection tools

  • Manage and analyse data using SPSS and Excel

  • Support report writing and the production of national publications

  • Liaise with clinicians, service users, and project stakeholders

  • Organise events, workshops, and meetings (online and in-person)

  • Assist with administrative tasks including invoices, bookings, and communications

The Project Officer will need to have:

  • A strong interest in health and social care, particularly mental health

  • Experience in audit, research, or quality improvement

  • Skills in data analysis using SPSS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desirable:

  • A degree in social sciences, health sciences, or data science

  • Experience working in mental health or with healthcare professionals

  • Confidence facilitating events or workshops
