Clinical Nurse Adviser – Community Nutrition
Field-Based | Permanent | 40 hrs/week
Locations: North West London | North London | South East London
About the Role
We are expanding our outpatient nutrition service in London and are seeking experienced nurses to join our homecare nursing team. You will support patients receiving Total Parenteral Nutrition in the community, helping them transition from hospital care and manage their therapy confidently at home.
This is a field-based role, ideal for nurses already working in the community or those looking to move from the hospital into a more autonomous, patient-focused position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in line with clinical protocols and service guidelines
- Deliver home visits and virtual patient support
- Educate and support patients, families, and carers on TPN care
- Maintain and monitor central lines for TPN
- Liaise with hospital and community healthcare teams
- Manage clinical equipment and supplies
- Ensure compliance with CPD, governance, and quality standards
Requirements
- NMC-registered nurse (Adult or Children’s)
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year post-registration clinical experience
- Confident working independently in a community setting
- Full UK driving licence
