Join our esteemed client as a Clinical Training Quality Assurance Lead, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the clinical competence of staff across various specialties. This position is crucial for maintaining high standards of care and contributing to the hospital's strategy and vision.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Ensure all clinically focused staff complete role-relevant training and possess the required skills to practice safely.
  • Develop individual training plans in collaboration with the Matron or Deputy Matron.
  • Conduct an annual training needs analysis for clinical staff, covering both mandatory and professional development training.
  • Support the delivery of clinical training across Registered Wards, Medical Centre, Therapies, and Domiciliary Teams.
  • Collaborate with the Matron on back-to-work plans, gradual returns, and development plans for staff requiring performance improvement.
  • Participate in the duty matron on-call rota and maintain professional development and registration.
  • Organize, plan, and deliver training to groups of clinical staff.
  • Review clinical audit results monthly and develop action plans with the Matron.
  • Ensure significant event lessons are incorporated into training analyses and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with a current NMC PIN/Registration.
  • Experience in clinical audit, training needs assessment, and training delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with a diverse range of people.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead by example.
  • Experience ensuring CQC compliance and working within or leading a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Training and development qualification is highly desirable.
