This exceptional school is seeking an inspiring and experienced Lead SENCo to oversee, drive and elevate provision for pupils with additional needs. This is an exciting part-time leadership role within a warm, ambitious, and highly reputable school community.

The Role

This position will allow you to champion inclusive practice and shape the school's SEND strategy.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and coordinating the school's SEND provision across all year groups
  • Overseeing EHCP processes, reviews, referrals and external agency engagement
  • Working closely with teachers and support staff to model best practice
  • Delivering high-quality training and guidance to staff on SEND strategies
  • Monitoring pupil progress, analysing data and identifying next steps
  • Maintaining accurate records, SEND registers and personalised plans
  • Supporting parents, carers and external professionals with a collaborative approach
  • Ensuring the school's SEND policy is implemented consistently and effectively
  • Contributing to whole-school development as part of the senior leadership team
