Weekend Content Strategist (Contractor/Freelancer) - 3 Months - 24hrs / week - Remote (UK)

Working Hours:Preference is for contractors available to work 8 hours each on Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday

About the Team: Join an innovative content curation team dedicated to guiding user experiences on one of the world's leading community platforms. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping content visibility and connecting users with communities and topics that align with their interests and cultural contexts.

About the Role: This weekend-focused role supports strategic content initiatives for the EMEA region and tracks global online trends. Your responsibilities include categorizing diverse content and mapping relationships between various community discussions, topics, and user preferences. Your analysis and accurate tagging will significantly improve algorithm-driven content recommendations and user engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with EMEA Content Leaders to implement strategic content projects.

  • Enhance platform understanding of community dynamics, cultural trends, and user behaviors specific to EMEA audiences.

  • Apply and maintain consistent adherence to content guidelines and tagging standards.

  • Precisely categorize and label platform content and community groups.

  • Perform quality assurance on algorithm outputs and contribute to training datasets.

  • Identify and document emerging content trends and insights to enhance ongoing strategy.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Native proficiency and familiarity in at least one of the following languages: French, Spanish, or German.

  • Experience reviewing, assessing, or curating digital content.

  • Extensive familiarity with online culture and digital communities.

  • Strong awareness of current events, cultural, sports, entertainment, and business trends.

Preferred Skills:

  • Fluency in additional European Languages (French/Spanish/German).

  • Experience in social media management or content creation on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram.

  • Experience engaging with or moderating active online communities.
