Our client, a leading energy company committed to sustainable and innovative solutions is seeking the expertise of a copywriter to work within their in-house creative agency. You will join a team who is committed to driving innovation and creative excellence in the renewable energy sector. In this role, the individual will help shape the brand's verbal identity across a variety of sustainability-focused projects, ensuring compelling, high-quality copy that aligns with the company's mission and values.
It is initially a six-month contract with potential to be extended. The role is Hybrid, with one or two days a week being based in their London office. It is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week.
Accountabilities:
* Create and deliver engaging copy across a wide range of channels, including digital, social media, display, print, motion graphics, and presentations, supporting multiple concurrent projects.
* Contribute to the development of new customer propositions and products by collaborating closely with design and cross-functional teams to understand goals, identify target audiences, and craft compelling messaging and claims.
* Maintain brand consistency and uphold high quality standards in all written content, ensuring alignment with the client tone of voice and guidelines.
* Clearly articulate and present creative ideas, strategies, and concepts to internal teams and stakeholders, explaining the thinking and rationale behind your work.
* Manage multiple tasks efficiently, meeting tight deadlines while ensuring timely delivery of content aligned with key project milestones.
Knowledge and Skills:
* A standout creative portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of verbal communication, storytelling, and brand development.
* Extensive experience of working in an agency or in-house creative department.
* A highly imaginative thinker with a track record of simplifying complex ideas and business challenges into clear, audience-focused messaging.
* Versatility and adaptability across diverse projects and workstreams.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience confidently engaging senior leadership and managing input from multiple stakeholders.
* Strong business acumen and the flexibility to respond to shifting business priorities, while consistently delivering high-quality creative work aligned with brand values.
* Superior organisational and time-management skills, capable of juggling multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
* Mastery of copywriting techniques, with a keen grasp of tone of voice, brand messaging, and narrative development.
* Broad experience crafting content for various digital and print media.
* Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive brand guidelines.
* Solid background in working within regulated industries, with the ability to substantiate claims and ensure compliance.
* strong understanding of current communication trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape.
* A proactive approach, open to new technologies, software, AI efficiencies, and evolving ways of working.
