Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join the growing team, being responsible for managing a number of existing clients , developing strong relationships, driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.
As an Account Manager you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of valued customers where you will be instrumental in ensuring their success with the platform, fostering long-term partnerships, and identifying opportunities for growth.
This role requires a blend of relationship-building skills, business acumen, and a passion for helping customers achieve their goals. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute directly to our company's success.
Responsibilities of an Account Manager
Develop and nurture deep, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders within your assigned customer accounts.
Proactively understand customers' business objectives, challenges, and how you can contribute to their success.
Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on best practices, ensuring platform adoption, and maximizing their return on investment, ultimately contributing to a customer retention rate of 90% annually.
Facilitate smooth onboarding processes and provide ongoing training and support to ensure customers are proficient with the software.
Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts, aligning our solutions with their evolving needs.
Develop a sales strategy to identify our top 20 customers
Lead and develop new growth projects, identifying opportunities to roll these out with existing and new customers.
Lead on contract renewals and negotiations with customers, ensuring these are planned out at least 6 months before renewal.
Serve as the voice of the customer internally, providing feedback to product and development teams to ensure our platform continues to meet their needs.
Track key account metrics, identify potential risks, and develop proactive strategies to ensure customer retention and satisfaction. Report on account health on a monthly basis.
Prepare and deliver compelling business reviews to showcase customer success, identify areas for improvement, and align on future goals on a quarterly basis
Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and support teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
Keep abreast of industry trends, product updates, and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights to customers. Identify networking opportunities with clients and attend key events throughout the year.
Work with Marketing to advise on potential new social media articles that would be of interest to our customers. Keep an active individual account on LinkedIn.
Ensure that Hubspot is being used as a single source of truth for all customer engagement activity, sales and marketing. Continue to develop skills in this area and identify ways to improve /streamline how you use Hubspot and other tools available.
Key requirements
Solid experience and success of growing accounts and revenue as an Account Manager
Ideally based Home counties / 1-2 hours commute from London.
Have demo'd and sold SaaS solutions in proptech, construction or housing
