We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our facilities management team in a commercial building environment. This role involves the maintenance, repair, and servicing of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fabric systems. The successful candidate will be a proactive and versatile individual, capable of performing a wide range of tasks, ensuring all facilities are safe, compliant, and fully operational.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general fabric maintenance (e.g., doors, windows, ceilings, flooring).

  • Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, ensuring the building systems are repaired and restored to full functionality with minimal disruption to the building's operations.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues effectively and efficiently.

  • Ensure all systems comply with health and safety regulations, including fire safety, electrical safety, and environmental standards.

  • Carry out minor installations and modifications to systems as required (e.g., adding lighting, power outlets, or small HVAC upgrades).

  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including maintenance logs and compliance documentation.

  • Regularly inspect building systems and carry out routine checks to identify potential issues before they become problems.

  • Work closely with the building's management and tenants to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any maintenance-related concerns promptly.

  • Take part in an on-call rota for out-of-hours emergencies (if applicable).

  • Assist in building audits and ensure that all safety and regulatory requirements are met, including legionella control, fire alarms, and emergency lighting
