Mobile Field Service Engineer - Catering Equipment
Location: London and Home counties ideally
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 DOE, based + Overtime + Company Van + Benefits
Hours: 38.5 hours per week (Door-to-Door Pay) - Average 50 hours/week
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
About the Role:
We're seeking a Mobile Field Service Engineer with experience in commercial catering equipment to join our expanding team. You'll be covering a wide geographical patch, with regular visits to high-profile clients such as airports, shopping centres, and other major retail or hospitality sites.
This role involves a mix of PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance), servicing, breakdown repairs, and installations of a wide range of catering and high-speed cooking equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, servicing, and reactive maintenance on commercial catering equipment
Work with high-speed cooking appliances including ovens, microwaves, grills, rethermalizers, breading stations, and more
Support key accounts and professional partners such as Electrolux and Smeg
Provide outstanding customer service in various environments - airports, cafes, shopping centres, etc.
Travel across a wide territory (UK Mainland) with a focus on the South and Midlands
What We're Looking For:
Experience in servicing commercial catering equipment (microwaves, ovens, grills, etc.)
Full UK driving licence
Positive, proactive, and dependable work ethic
Flexibility for early starts and variable hours (some engineers begin their day at 4am)
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
