Interim Governance & Compliance Consultant | Multi-Academy Trust | Southwest London | 3 - 6 month contract | 3 days per week (part time)

Panoramic Associates are seeking a Governance and Compliance professional to work for a Multi-Academy Trust. This pivotal role providing expert, well-researched advice to the Trust Board, Local Governing Bodies, the CEO, and the Executive Team-ensuring that statutory duties are met and that their governance framework operates with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead governance operations and ensure full legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain all statutory records, registers, and Trust-wide policies.
  • Ensure accuracy of public-facing information (e.g., Companies House, GIAS).
  • Oversee governance risks within the Trust's central risk register.
  • Lead compliance functions including FOI/SAR processes, manage the Data Protection Log, and liaise with our external Data Protection provider.

About You:

  • A highly skilled professional with exceptional attention to detail and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Expert knowledge of the MAT legal framework (Academy Trust Handbook, Company Law, Charity Law), or a commitment to developing this expertise.
  • Proven experience in clerking meetings and producing accurate minutes.

Please note that this role is 3 days per week and will be paid on a daily rate via umbrella company.
