Blueprint Recruitment are seeking multiple experienced Structural Engineers to become active members of a global civil and structural consultancy, in a permanent position. The chosen applicants will be required to work on a hybrid basis, working 3 days a week, from our client's London office. Within this position, you will play a crucial role in the development of Commercial building projects, joining a skilled team.
-Competitive salary ranging from 45,000-55,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:
-Create and develop structural design specifications, drawings, and calculations for buildings, ranging in conditions.
-Work alongside multidisciplinary professionals, including MEP engineers, architects, and other specialist disciplines, to ensure effective and efficient design integration.
-Oversee and survey structural detailing, with the inclusion of concrete, steel, and post-tensioning, whilst conducting independent checks.
-Provide support and guidance throughout the construction stage, by reviewing works, overseeing revisions, and finding solutions for any concerns or queries.
-Locate potential constructability challenges, develop structural layouts, and provide value engineering opportunities.
-Conduct project quality assurance, design reviews, whilst complying with current engineering principles, practices, and internal systems.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, with, or working towards, a chartered status.
-5+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer, or a similar role, with an impressive portfolio showcasing previous Civil and/or Structural projects.
-Extensive experience with civil and structural design processes, with a focus on steel and concrete, for Commercial building projects.
-Strong understanding of the use of software tools, such as BIM and Revit, for coordination and modelling.
-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals.
