Our client, a well-established engineering consultancy, is offering one skilled individual a permanent position within their organisation. Within this position, you will be required to work on a hybrid basis, attending one our client's four offices, in Leeds, Glasgow, Esher and London, 4 times a week, but 3 days a week will be considered. Build your portfolio of works with a variety of Industrial, Middle Eastern, and High-Rise projects.

Responsibilities:
-Produce in-depth structural design specifications, drawings, and calculations for a variety of projects, with a focus on Middle Eastern, High-rise, and Industrial buildings.
-Oversee and survey structural detailing, with the inclusion of concrete, steel, and post-tensioning, whilst conducting independent checks.
-Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, including MEP engineers, architects, and other specialist disciplines, to ensure effective and efficient design integration.
-Identify potential constructability challenges, develop structural layouts, and provide value engineering opportunities.
-Conduct project quality assurance, design reviews, whilst complying with current engineering principles, practices, and internal systems.
-Provide support and guidance throughout the construction stage, by reviewing works, overseeing revisions, and finding solutions for any concerns or queries.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, with an attained chartered status, or actively working towards one.
-Extensive experience as a Structural Engineer, or a similar role, ideally with an understanding of High-rise, Industrial, and Middle Eastern building systems.
-Demonstratable experience with producing detailed designs for construction or building services fields.
-Strong understanding of software tools, such as Tekla, STAAD, and Revit, or similar, with relation to structural design.
-Solid understanding of relevant UK building regulations, standards, and codes.
-Excellent communication skills, with an ongoing problem-solving mindset, and a strong attention to detail.
