AI Engineer Opportunity – Hybrid | Outside IR35 | £500–£600 per day
Morela is proud to be supporting an innovative customer in the data and AI space, currently on the lookout for a talented AI Engineer to join them on a contract basis.
This role will see you working across complex data sets, designing and deploying AI-powered solutions using modern technologies. You'll be contributing to impactful projects across enterprise environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying cutting-edge tools to solve real business challenges.

£500–£600 per day (depending on experience)

Hybrid working – occasional site visits to either London or Nottingham
What you'll bring

Strong hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering in production environments

Proven capability working with PySpark and distributed data processing

Experience building and deploying solutions using Microsoft Copilot and related M365 AI tools

Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools (model deployment, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines)

Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions
- Bonus: Any experience with Palantir technologies is highly desirable
