Morson Edge are currently working with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy to recruit a skilled Architect for rail and transport projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team delivering high-quality architectural design for train stations and associated infrastructure across a nationwide project portfolio.

The role offers the chance to work across all project stages, from concept design to detailed design, with opportunities to lead work packages and mentor junior team members.

Role Overview
You will contribute to the design and delivery of transport projects, ensuring design excellence, compliance with project standards, and effective collaboration with the wider multi-disciplinary team. Your architectural expertise will help create innovative, functional, and high-quality solutions within the rail sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver architectural design for rail and transport projects, including train stations.
• Work across all project stages, from concept through to detailed design.
• Lead work packages as required, overseeing junior team members.
• Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Use Bentley software and other design tools to produce high-quality outputs.
• Maintain a proactive, solution-focused approach to deliver projects on time and to brief.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience designing train stations and rail infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Bentley software.
• Experience across all work stages (concept to detailed design).
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead work packages and mentor junior colleagues.
• Passion for delivering excellent architectural design.

Desirable

• Experience in transport or multi-disciplinary consultancy projects.
• Exposure to complex infrastructure schemes.
