The Opportunity

They are seeking a motivated and design-focused Part II Architectural Assistant to join the London studio. The role offers the chance to work closely with a senior practice leader on both live commissions and early-stage concept design. It is a strong development opportunity for someone at the beginning of their professional journey who is eager to learn, contribute and progress quickly.



Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to drawings, models, presentation material and design documentation

  • Support the preparation of technical information, schedules and specifications

  • Assist with administrative tasks linked to project delivery

  • Help prepare material for planning submissions and regulatory approvals

  • Produce clear and accurate documentation for tender and contract stages

  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants and project partners

  • Attend internal and external meetings where required

  • Engage in CPD and contribute to organising learning sessions within the practice

  • Take initiative in developing leadership skills within project teams

  • Support general studio duties such as maintaining a tidy workspace and managing shared tasks

  • Provide guidance to more junior team members where appropriate

  • Deliver work professionally, meeting agreed deadlines and quality standards

  • Stay informed about regulatory updates, best practice in construction, and emerging design trends

Skills & Experience

  • RIBA Part I and II completed; actively working towards Part III

  • Degree and/or Masters in architecture or an equivalent discipline

  • Awareness of current legislation related to construction, planning and health & safety

  • Previous experience in a similar architectural role

  • Strong design sensibility and an eye for detail

  • Confident verbal and written communication, with the ability to present ideas clearly

  • Good organisational skills, managing time and tasks efficiently

  • Strong hand-drawing or digital drawing capabilities, including 3D work

  • Comfortable working on Mac systems

  • Experience with design and visualisation tools such as SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Vectorworks, Revit or BIM platforms
