Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and run large-scale projects (c. 20m+) from inception to completion
- Manage multiple on-site projects simultaneously, delegating effectively to junior team members
- Write full specifications and develop detailed technical design solutions
- Manage and coordinate the design team and associated consultants
- Take responsibility for project delivery, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements
- Lead client engagement, presentations and ongoing relationship management
- Oversee project finances including fees, invoicing and profitability
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing across the practice
- Support the regional director in winning new work and growing client account
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record running complex projects from design to delivery
- Strong technical expertise with Revit and BIM workflows
- Ability to produce and manage detailed specifications and technical packages
- Experience coordinating consultants and managing small project teams
- Knowledge of MMC solutions, net zero carbon design and sustainable approaches
- Understanding of refurbishment, repair, reuse and deconstruction strategies
- Ability to manage workload across multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, able to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
- Knowledge of Dynamo scripting, NBS Chorus and education sector experience (desirable)
- Experience managing remote outsourced delivery partners (desirable)
