A Senior Interior Architect job is now available with a leading interior design studio in London. The successful candidate will be delivering stages 3 & 4 for a hotel brand and will have the opportunity to work on all project stages of boutique hotel projects.

The practice is known for their eclectic and beautifully curated interiors for luxury hospitality and residential projects. They are currently looking for a passionate Senior Interior Architect with extensive experience in high-end hospitality design and excellent project management skills to join their team of 15 on a permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

- Develop and present design concepts
- Managing hotel projects from start through to installation
- Conduct in-depth design research, from mood board creation to site-specific analysis
- Lead the material selection process
- Producing and reviewing technical packs
- Ensure all design documentation is accurate, adhering to high-quality standards
- Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
- Liaise with design and procurement teams daily to ensure project success
- Support the management team in client, contractor, and supplier communications.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in high end hospitality
- Proven experience of project running large-scale hotel projects, from concept to completion
- Strong track record delivering stages 3 and 4
- Outstanding technical knowledge with the ability to produce and review shop drawings
- Proficiency in design project management with the ability to mentor and guide teams
- Construction and on-site delivery experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience leading and coordinating meetings on site
- Understanding of the operational side of hospitality
- Strong knowledge of furniture, lighting, ironmongery, and sanitary ware manufacturers
- Strong understanding of FF&E costs and project budgets
- Proficient in Photoshop, AutoCAD, InDesign, Excel, SketchUp.
