Madisons Recruitment are looking for x3 Fire Stoppers to start ASAP in Greenwich and South London for a long term ongoing contract with a view of going permanent.
We’re looking for skilled Fire Stoppers with a positive, can-do attitude to join our growing team. You’ll be a strong team player but confident working independently, with a genuine interest in fire safety and a drive to keep learning. You will be required to work on various sites (jobbing) on a long term contract.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain fire door sets
- Carry out fire door assessments and record findings
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Liaise with management daily
Requirements
- CSCS card (Essential)
- Full UK driving licence (Essential)
- Own tools & PPE (Essential)
- NVQ Level 2 in Joinery &/Or Carpentry (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in carpentry/fire stopping (social housing, healthcare, retail sectors a plus)
- Strong knowledge of site Health & Safety
