Cpl Life Sciences are looking to recruit a Engineering Technician to join a Pharmaceutical organisation based in Greater London.

This role is responsible for production related equipment on both manufacturing and packaging machinery. You will be expected to carry out engineering related activities in a GMP compliant manner.

This will be a full-time permanent position, based on site: Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00.

Responsibilities include:

Maintenance, fault finding and repair of manufacturing/packaging equipment

Ensure compliance with GMP standards

Develop and review existing engineering plans and procedures

Implement reactive and planned maintenance strategies

Assessment of critical spare requirements, shutdown plans and workload

Support with deviation investigations

Maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring any incidents are reported in the correct manner

Skills and qualifications:

Time served apprenticeship or relevant experience (City & Guilds, Btec Level 3 or relevant technical equivalent)

Fault finding ability

Proven experience of writing and reviewing GMP documentation

Highly regulated industry experience - ideally Pharmaceutical

Adaptable to changing needs of a production engineering department
