- Handle all T0 Operations : Trade Bookings, T0 Confirmation/ Affirmation, P&L, inputting trades to the blotter

- Be sat on desk with the Trading teams

- Be part of a global Commodities TA set up.

- Have full ownership of EMEA Metals (Base & Precious) Trade Assistant function.

What you'll do:

As a Commodities (Metals) Trade Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in executing assigned FICC Trade Support activities for Commodity products. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include booking, validating and amending trades, reviewing trade discrepancies and liaising with clients. You will also be involved in supporting the introduction of new products, technology or processes. Your keen eye for identifying potential risk situations will be crucial in ensuring adherence to regulatory and Bank policies. Furthermore, your contribution towards improving operational effectiveness will be highly valued.

* Execute assigned on-desk trade support activities accurately and efficiently.* Book, validate and amend trades, review discrepancies and liaise with clients.* Support the introduction of new products, technology or processes.* Identify potential risk situations within the scope of FICC Trade Support activities.* Ensure adherence to regulatory and Bank policies and procedures.* Contribute to testing and updating of contingency planning.* Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Commodities (Metals) Trade Assistant role brings a wealth of experience from the financial services industry. You possess a University Degree or College Diploma in a related discipline along with strong knowledge of Financial Products including Commodities (Energy and metals), Fixed Income, and Interest Rate Derivatives. Your strong written and oral communication skills enable you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders. Your ability to work under tight deadlines independently or within a team is commendable. Moreover, your understanding of business unit's risk and regulatory requirements is essential.
