We are seeking a Temporary Agency Plumbing IQA to lead on the implementation of quality processes and raising standards to achieve outstanding learning, assessment, and delivery. This role is crucial in ensuring responsive provision to meet both employer and learner needs within work-based learning.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Drive up standards and achieve continuous improvements in timely success and other quality KPIs across the Apprenticeship Academy.
  • Develop a comprehensive learner experience and support system that enables all learners to gain additional skills and opportunities.
  • Plan, develop, and monitor quality standard practices including Internal Quality Assurance (IQA).
  • Represent the College at both internal and external meetings, contributing to curriculum development forums.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement through staff training plans to support outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of qualification frameworks and assessment procedures to maximise learner success.
  • Lead on improving the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment with innovative solutions.
  • Promote and manage good practice across the curriculum, ensuring compliance with equality, diversity, and safety standards.
  • Analyse management information to inform decision-making and prepare reports for various stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • NVQ or equivalent professional qualification in Electrical Installation.
  • Assessor qualification and Internal Verifier or IQA qualification.
  • Experience in management within an educational setting or relevant industrial background.
  • Proven experience in training and assessment in the workplace.
  • Knowledge of curriculum planning and resource deployment.
  • Familiarity with funding streams, budget management, and quality improvement processes.
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office, Internet) and excellent communication skills.
