An amazing opportunity to join an exclusive privately owned retail group at a time of growth and development of the online platform. Reporting to the Finance Manager and working in a small highly driven team you will take ownership of the accounts payable function. This is the perfect role for someone with 12 months experience in an accounts role, keen to progress and study towards a professional accounting qualification.
Responsibility of the Accounts Payable Role:-
- Match, batch and code the supplier invoices to the system
- Confirm delivery before processing for payment
- Requesting copy invoices and credit notes for returns and shortages
- Supplier statement account reconciliations
- Liaising with suppliers and resolving any queries
- Manage the finance inbox
- Ad hoc duties as requested
Requirements of the Accounts Payable Role:-
- Ideally studying towards accounting qualification
- Minimum of 12 months accounts experience
- Strong Excel skills to include pivots and vlookups
- First rate communication skills
