We are looing for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer who has Local Authority/Statutory Experience for a role to start immediately.
The role will involve the following duties:
- Provide a professional and seamless Accounts Payable (AP) service to the Council, adopting best practice in respect of customer and supplier relations management and the achievement of service standards, KPI, and other metrics.
- Efficiently and accurately process all outgoing payment transactions in a controlled and timely manner in line with the Council’s policies and procedures.
- Be a key point of contact for internal and external Purchase to Pay (PTP) suppliers to ensure enquiries are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
- Work as part of a team to achieve consistent standards and maximise Value for Money.
