This is an established and growing IT management business based in London, operating across the UK & internationally. They provide a number of IT solutions across the globe supporting a wide variety of clients to top standards.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their finance team on a remote working basis.
Role
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for processing of receivables, resolving billings discrepancies and collections, as well as supporting the overall function across the EMEA region. They will take on a number of duties including:
- Preparation and raising of invoices.
- Assisting customers regarding billing issues and flagging up to directors.
- Maintaining billing accounts and records.
- Take ownership in managing the debt collection process.
- Chasing overdue payments and provide detailed reports on collection activities.
- Ensure that the cash applications are done accurately.
- Provide insight and further information for cash flow forecasting.
- Reconcile the receivable accounts with customers, maintaining accuracy.
- Assist in year-end activities and processes.
- Reconcile bank accounts into the accounting system.
- Regularly review processes suggesting further improvements to the billing, collections and receivable work.
Profile
The ideal profile for this Accounts Receivable Specialist position, should have the following attributes:
- 4+ years of experience within a similar senior Accounts Receivable / Billings capacity.
- EMEA experience would be ideal.
- Experience in managing overdue debts and collections.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work autonomously to high standards.
- Confident with Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs etc.)
Salary & Benefits
£40,000 to £47,000 plus benefits including:
