Your new company Your new company are a brand new and exciting Lloyd's Broking house, who were established in 2020 and have seen a mass growth spurt since. They specialize in US Non-Marine risks, both Binders and Open Market and pride themselves on their Independence and being able to provide clients a personal, tailored solution in the current market climate. Due to mass growth to the US Binder book a permanent position for a Senior Binder Technician has arisen.Your new role Your new role working as a Senior Binder Technician, means you will be responsible for an all-encompassing Broker Back Up support role to the US Binder team. You will be experience in the DA space, have good contacts in the Lloyd's tram and a proven track record in technical ability. You will have good working knowledge of Lloyd's systems, Atlas, DCOM and other Insurance systems and be able to create binders and endorsements from scratch. You will Understand the various clauses needed that relate to a wording, understand taxation rules for different countries, particularly Surplus Lines and be able to read and query both written and paid premium bordx. Other duties will include being able to instruct the processing team and supply information they require to process through to underwriters as well as, understand and facilitate the signing process, FDO's etc. and be able to calculate earned to incurred, understand loss triangles.What you need to succeedYour previous experience working as a Senior Binder Technician with a minimum of 5 years' London Market experience in a Lloyd's Broking House where you have had both front end and back end technical experience will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally you will have a number of years of insurance experience in Insurance within a Technical capacity ideally handling Delegated Authority and/or Binder business and hopefully be working towards your CERT CII qualification. You will be experienced in both Excel and Word, with great organization and communication skills both written and verbally.What you'll get in returnYou'll be offered a competitive salary depending on your experience plus comprehensive benefits package.
