IT Principal Consultant - Active SC, HPC, Beowulf

We are seeking an experienced HPC Expert to lead containerisation initiatives for high-performance computing environments. The role involves advising on best practices, optimizing HPC workflows, and engaging with customers through workshops and technical interviews.
Key requirements:
- Proven active as an IT Consultant with Active SC (Security Clearance)
- Hands-on experience with Beowulf clusters
- Strong knowledge of Slurm Job Scheduling
- Expertise in MPI-optimized container images, including: OpenMPI with Apptainer (SIF) and Podman/Buildah tooling
Nice to have:
- Ability to conduct HPC infrastructure interviews and containerisation workshops
- Familiarity with SDLC, Jupyter ecosystem, and MPI
- Knowledge of: Singularity, SIF format, HPC workflows, CFD software (e.g., OpenFOAM), Docker, Kubernetes as HPC runtime, Run:AI and GPU slicing
