Overview:
A leading non for profit organization in the health and wellbeing space are currently seeking a Senior Scientific Strategist to work closely with the science team and develop strategies and plans for the next 10 years.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain some excellent experience working with a globally recognised organization
Role & Responsibilities:
- Ensure roadmaps and frameworks are creating and planned within the next 6 months
- Spot trends, risks, and opportunities in global health research
- Liaise with senior executives, academics, funders, and external partners and influence them
- Use data, research trends, and external insights to build a credible, practical strategy
- Run workshops, discussions, and working groups with senior leaders and experts.
- Design the long-term direction for the Science research team
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience implementing strategies in a global science organision
- Experience influencing senior leaders and presenting to them
- Great understanding of data and understanding research
- Ability to recognise risks and opportunities
- A great understanding of grants and funding processes
- Great attention to detail
- An excellent communicator
- Hard-working and ambitious
