Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

About the Role
Our client, a leading organisation in the food production sector, is currently seeking a detail-oriented Lab Analyst to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a professional laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately entering and managing data using SAP and Excel
- Navigating internal systems to locate and retrieve documentation
- Generating reports from templates, ensuring data accuracy and identifying anomalies
- Conducting a range of laboratory tests, including:
- Titrations
- Solution preparation with volumetric flasks
- Sample weighing using balances
- Spectrophotometry
- Weight loss on drying (involving muffle furnaces, desiccators, and balances)
- Polarimetry (including multi-step sample preparation)
- Vacuum filtration
Attention to detail and care in handling glassware and equipment are essential in this role.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proficient in SAP and Excel, with strong general IT skills
- Previous lab experience preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical working style
- Comfortable working with various lab techniques and equipment
- Able to identify data inconsistencies and take appropriate action
