Are you a science graduate with a passion for food innovation?Our client, the world's largest refiner and marketer of a food product - is seeking a proactive Laboratory Analyst to join their cutting-edge New Product Development team based at their Canning Town site.

?? The Role
Reporting to the Europe NPD Senior Scientist, you'll be supporting a variety of new and existing product and packaging development projects. This is a hands-on, lab-based role that involves:
- Preparing laboratory formulations and trial samples
- Conducting analytical tests (e.g. brix, pH, water activity, viscosity, moisture)
- Supporting shelf-life assessments and data analysis
- Assisting with sensory tests, benchmarking and trial setups
- Maintaining lab standards in line with GMP requirements
? Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience:
- Previous work in a food production or analytical laboratory environment
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (full training provided)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
Education:
- HND or BSc in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Clear communicator, both written and verbal
- Able to follow technical instructions precisely
- Organised and adaptable with great attention to detail
- Located near Thames or willing to relocate (availability to start ASAP is a plus!)
