Based close to London Bridge, a successful and well-established business specialising in the design and build sector is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join them temporarily with a realistic opportunity to become permanent. This is a sole charge role reporting to the Managing Director. Responsibilities include:
- Set up the Accounts system using Sage 50 Accounts
- Bringing the payroll and CIS ledger in-house
- All aspects of Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Bank, expenses, and credit card reconciliations
- Budgeting, cash flow forecast, project reports update, and month-end journals
- Produce year-end accounts, liaising with auditors, HMRC, and all finance-related inquiries.
The role will be office-based for the first three months; after that, the business will offer 50% hybrid working. The working hours are 09.00 to 17.00, 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. They are a small and friendly team who work closely together to progress the business. Please note that you must be available to start work immediately to be considered for this opportunity.
