The client are a high end whisky investment firm who are looking to hire a Marketing Lead into their team in London.

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Marketing Lead with a passion for branding, and consumer engagement. This role is crucial in driving the brand's growth, market share, and revenue through strategic marketing initiatives, data-led decisions, and innovative campaign execution.

You will play a key role in developing and delivering the marketing strategy across B2C and B2B channels, ensuring strong brand positioning, increasing visibility, and fuelling direct and indirect sales.

Description

Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Lead:

Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute the annual marketing plan in alignment with business objectives, revenue targets, and brand positioning.

  • Define and segment target audiences, building tailored marketing strategies for each group (e.g., collectors, connoisseurs, younger drinkers, global markets).
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to adjust strategy and spot opportunities.

Brand Management

  • Protect and evolve the brand identity across all channels, ensuring consistency of tone, visuals, and storytelling.
  • Champion the brand's heritage and authenticity while innovating for modern relevance.

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Plan, create, and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, print, events, and partnerships.
  • Drive new product launches and seasonal promotions to boost customer engagement and sales.

Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Manage website content, SEO/SEM strategy, and analytics with a strong focus on user journey.
  • Lead paid advertising campaigns (Meta etc), ensuring strong ROI.
  • Oversee email marketing, CRM journeys, and loyalty-building strategies.

Partnerships & PR

  • Identify and manage brand collaborations.
  • Liaise with PR agencies and industry influencers to maximise earned media and visibility.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Set KPIs and track marketing performance regularly, presenting insights to senior leadership.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, HubSpot (or equivalent) to measure customer acquisition, engagement, and ROI.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to align marketing activities with company goals.

Profile

The successful candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar marketing role, ideally within whisky, spirits, premium beverage, or luxury investments.
  • Proven track record of revenue-driving marketing campaigns and brand growth.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behaviour, especially in the whisky or alcohol sector.
  • Strong digital marketing expertise including paid media, email, SEO, and analytics.
  • Excellent storytelling and content development skills.
  • Strong budget management, reporting, and ROI analysis capabilities.
  • Creative thinker with commercial acumen and a drive for performance.
  • Will ideally have financial services / investment management experience
