Position: Maintenance Operative
Location: White City Living, W12
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 0700 – 1600
Salary: £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent

Development Details:
This role will be based at a development located in in the heart of West London. This is a new development which is part of a 10-year project, It has 981 homes now, and it will be 1,155 homes in total at the end of this year (2023). There will be approximately 2,300 homes by 2030. This site benefits from several amenities for residents such as a Health Club with swimming pool, 2 cinemas, and a virtual golf. Close by stations include White City and Shepherds Bush underground station, and Wood Lane overground station. This role will involve carrying out maintenance tasks within the communal areas of the entire development.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
As a Maintenance Operative at Rendall & Rittner, you will:
- You’ll be someone who cares passionately about creating a positive, clean, and safe environment for residents, guests, and your team.
- You’ll have a great eye for detail and experience carrying out regular development inspections.
- You’ll be a true expert in customer service, who uses this to engage, communicate and inspire others.
- You’ll understand Health and Safety processes at a residential development.
- Your team matters to you, you support them, work together, and build strong working relationships with residents, guests, and external contractors.
- Have experience specifically in one trade, ideally painting & decorating or plumbing, but will be happy to attend to any necessary maintenance issues including decorating, minor plumbing, making good, repairing tiling, ad-hoc maintenance tasks.
- Will be a self-starter and will pick up on tasks which need attending to
- You will be IT savvy to allow for handovers and reporting
- PLEASE NOTE candidates must be in possession of a full, clean driving licence and be over the age of 25 for insurance purposes
