Role Overview
As Head of Sales, you will lead the sales function across both the security and cleaning divisions, overseeing strategy, performance, and team leadership. Your focus will be on identifying high-value opportunities, managing key accounts, building a robust sales pipeline, and driving sustainable revenue growth. You will report directly to the Managing Director and play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a high-level sales strategy across security and cleaning verticals.

Lead, mentor, and grow the sales team to exceed targets and KPIs.

Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, tenders, and client engagement.

Oversee and contribute to bid writing, tender submissions, and contract negotiations.

Foster strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure retention and upselling.

Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to refine propositions.

Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth mobilisation and delivery of contracts.

Maintain accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM management.
Candidate Requirements

Proven track record in a senior sales leadership role within security, commercial cleaning, or facilities management.

Deep understanding of manned guarding, CCTV solutions, and contract cleaning services.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate complex contracts.

Experience with public and private sector bids, frameworks, and tenders.

Natural leader with excellent communication, coaching, and people management skills.

Proficient in CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Full UK driving licence.
