Business Analyst - Financial Services (Workday HCM)

As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in the delivery and optimisation of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) systems across the business. Working closely with HR, IT, and key business stakeholders, you will gather requirements, analyse data, and support the design and implementation of Workday HCM enhancements that align with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements related to Workday HCM.

Translate business needs into functional specifications and support system design and configuration.

Lead workshops, gap analyses, and impact assessments to guide informed decision-making.

Partner with technical teams to ensure successful integration, testing, and deployment of Workday solutions.

Provide subject matter expertise on Workday modules including Core HCM, Absence, Compensation, and Talent.

Support change management, user training, and post-implementation reviews.

Continuously monitor and analyse system performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Skills and Experience Required

Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services sector.

Demonstrated expertise with Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), including configuration and deployment.

Strong understanding of HR processes, data structures, and reporting requirements.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across business functions.

Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
