Meraki Talent is partnering with a global financial services company. The Business Analyst will be joining the London Oil & Gas Department focusing on supplying products to the energy industry. With projects across EMEA, the business operates across a wide geographical area and across multiple energy fields from O&G to Geothermal. The business is also developing a sustainable and digital supply chain management offering for its customer.
  Business Analyst Responsibilities:Created in response to increased workload, especially related to the global Shell business. It’s an opportunity for a candidate with 2+ years of relevant experience to contribute to a growing business while developing key skills in commercial and operational functions.  Person Specification:- Support the Shell Global Frame Agreement (approx. 70% of role)
- Assist with new business development initiatives (approx. 30% of role)
- Contribute to commercial activities including sales, marketing, and contracting
- Support operational aspects such as logistics, inventory, IT systems, and quality management
- Focus on contract management and supply chain execution rather than sustainability reporting
- Travel: Required approximately once every two months (mainly Europe, with occasional travel to the USA and APAC)
- Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
- Team Structure: The team includes 4 members
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a multicultural business environment
- Previous exposure to the energy sector, particularly Oil & Gas (OCTG knowledge is a strong asset)
- Experience in trading companies, banks, or management consultancies will also be considered
- Familiar with IT systems such as SAP and Salesforce (preferred)
- Skilled in MS Office, especially Excel and basic database tools like Access
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Motivated to work in the energy sector, with a passion for enabling the energy transition and sustainable supply chains
