A global investment bank is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join their Debt Capital Markets business in London City. This is a key role supporting the a complex global loan transfer programme

Your Role:

As a hybrid Project Manager/Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of business initiatives and programmes. You will act as an advisor to leadership, providing strategic direction and expertise for implementing innovative business solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading team meetings or steering committees, managing relationships with cross-functional business partners, and collaborating with team leaders in developing project plans, policies, and procedures. Your ability to understand corporate and investment banking products and the lending lifecycle will be crucial in this role.

  • Act as an execution advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex challenges related to execution
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise for implementing innovative business solutions
  • Prepare inputs and lead team meetings or steering committees
  • Manage relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners
  • Collaborate with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures

Your Profile:

  • A solid understanding of corporate and investment banking products and the lending lifecycle is essential for success in this role.
  • Proven experience as a Project Management/Business Analyst loan service, bond issuance and settlement, and lending SDLCs is essential
  • Experience working on a Brexit or a legal entity set up project where you have set up a loans desk for another European Bank
  • Strong business analysis skills - able to elicit requirements and perform gap analysis of existing processes, resources, and capabilities.
  • Experience defining the project scope, establishing work breakdown structures, and liaising with various departments such as LOB, Finance, Treasury, and Operations to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Strong communication skills for leading Working Groups, Executive Steer Committees etc.
  • Experience liaising with LOB, Finance, Treasury and Operations to deliver end-to-end solutions
