A unique opportunity has arisen for an actuarial professional to join a high-profile M&A Pricing team within a global life insurance group. This role will focus on evaluating M&A and reinsurance opportunities, primarily across the European and Asian markets, with direct exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support M&A processes by providing technical actuarial input and financial analysis.
  • Build and run pricing models to evaluate acquisition and reinsurance opportunities.
  • Assess and quantify potential risks and upsides of target portfolios.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including underwriting, capital, risk, finance, and legal.
  • Prepare clear and concise pricing recommendations for senior decision-makers.
  • Remain up to date with actuarial M&A developments and best practices.

Experience Required:

  • A degree in mathematics or a related field.
  • Part-qualified or qualified actuary.
  • Experience in M&A, reinsurance pricing, or actuarial consulting preferred.
  • Familiarity with Solvency II or equivalent regulatory frameworks advantageous.
  • Strong technical modelling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
