Our client, a rapidly expanding consultancy, is looking for an experienced Principal Consultant - CSRD, Corporate Reporting Lead to join their dynamic team. You will have the opportunity to work across various industry sectors, with a strong focus on private equity clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • CSRD Compliance and Advisory: Guide clients on CSRD compliance, develop control frameworks and data processes, and collaborate with auditors.
  • Client Engagement: Lead client interactions and project delivery, focusing on Double Materiality Assessments, CSRD gap analysis, and action planning.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and coach consultants, fostering excellence in regulatory compliance and project management.
  • Risk Assessment and Business Development: Conduct ESG risk assessments, support commercial strategy through client engagement, and participate in industry events.
  • Educational Workshops and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct educational sessions for boards and internal teams on ESG trends and regulations, and maintain a knowledge database on technical positions and regulatory developments.
  • Tools: Stay updated on software tools and digital solutions supporting DMA and CSRD compliance, including XBRL tagging requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: 5+ years in sustainability consultancy or ESG reporting, with a focus on CSRD/NFRD. Relevant ESG experience in audit or private equity considered.
  • Expertise: Proven in conducting double materiality assessments across various industries.
  • Knowledge: Familiar with GRI, TCFD, SASB standards, and sustainability frameworks.
  • Skills: Strong project management handling multiple complex projects.
  • Technical: Proficient in ESG data management and advanced Excel.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to develop custom consulting solutions and manage teams to meet deadlines and budgets.

EDUCATION

Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Economics, Business Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainable Finance, or related fields. Professional certifications in ESG or Climate Risk management are advantageous.
