Senior Business Analyst - London – £500 Per Day – Central London – 7 Month Contract – Hybrid – Start ASAP

Reed Talent Professionals are supporting a world leading media services organisation based in London in the search for a Senior Business Analyst to join their HR, Learning and Resource Scheduling Team, within the Corporate Systems department of the Technology and Media Operations division. This role is crucial for modernising and simplifying the current Systems landscape within HR, Learning and Resource Scheduling technical products and platforms.

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for investigating and analysing business activities and processes and looking to make them more efficient through the use of IT resources (both hardware and software). Implementing simple measures such as new software for customer relationship management, to a full integrated system dealing with all stages from payment to stock control and dispatch depending on the needs of the business.

This role can be based in various locations: London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol OR Cardiff (Hybrid). 2-3 days on site per week.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Identify areas for improvement
  • Create IT Solutions and Test IT systems
  • Provide staff training of the systems implemented Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, confirm objectives and priorities, and articulate user, business, and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to business case development and solution delivery, ensuring all requirements are valid and traceable.
  • Facilitate communication across multi-disciplined teams to ensure a clear understanding of proposed changes.
  • Maintain and develop business system and domain knowledge, sharing insights across the team.
  • Advise on strategy implementation and technical options, driving business decisions with informed research.
  • Document existing business processes and systems to identify potential process improvements.
  • Manage professional relationships effectively, promoting open communication and challenging constructively when necessary.
  • Define business benefits, create benefits maps, and introduce measures to track progress against targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Management, Enterprise IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of business and data analysis tools and techniques such as requirements engineering, structured analysis and design, and business process re-engineering.
  • Strong communication skills, adept in a variety of methods tailored to audience needs.
  • Experience in leading and delivering Business Analysis at a programme level within a technical environment.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex problems and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and capable of mentoring and developing team members.
