Senior Consultant - Data Management | Investment Management Consultancy

Location: London (Hybrid - 2/3 days in office or on client site per week)

A high-performing consultancy team specialising in Investment Management and Wealth transformation is hiring a Senior Consultant in Data Management to support enterprise delivery across leading platform ecosystems. With a strong culture of collaboration and a focus on practical outcomes, the team helps clients tackle their most complex data and operations challenges using cutting-edge solutions.

You'll work with platforms like Aladdin, SimCorp, and S&P EDM to support hands-on transformation at the core of client operations, including engagements within the wider State Street Alpha programme.

What you'll do:

  • Support the delivery of data integration, platform configuration, and process transformation projects.

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders across front, middle, and back office to understand operational needs and deliver tailored data solutions.

  • Contribute to end-to-end technology transformations using agile and traditional delivery methods.

  • Bring energy, insight, and precision to complex, fast-moving projects in a supportive and dynamic team environment.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in Data Management within Investment Management or Wealth, ideally across large delivery programmes.

  • Understanding of financial products, trade lifecycle, and data flows in IM environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable clarifying ambiguous requirements and influencing outcomes.

  • Delivery capability with familiarity in tools like Jira or Confluence; hands-on configuration experience is a plus.

Desirable:

  • Professional certifications such as AgilePM, Scrum Master, Prince2, or CFA/IMC/IOC.

  • Experience in platform implementation or transformation consulting.

  • A keen interest in emerging technologies and how they affect the financial services landscape.
